CHURCH LEADERS
St. Peter's leadership team consists of Revd Sheena Ward and Ruth Hodson.
Our services are led by members of the worship team which includes clergy and authorised lay people.
SUNDAY SERVICES
We meet every Sunday in Northburn First School Hall.
10.30 a.m. Family Worship
(This includes Holy Communion on the 4th Sunday of each month).
Provision for children
Children's groups meet during our morning services. They cater for
children aged from 3 through to young teens. There is also an area at
the back of the hall where very young children can play, supervised by
their parents.
After the services
Many people stay for tea or coffee and a chat. People are also available to pray with you if something is troubling you.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Youth Groups
Youth Group caters for young people of high
school age and meets on Sunday evenings. There is a varied programme of
fun, fellowship and discussion. Crazy Mania is for younger children
aged 9 to 13. There is also an inter-church youth event known as

Prayer Group
We have a weekly prayer meeting to pray for the work of the church.
Coffee and Chat
This meets weekly in people's homes on Monday afternoons between 1.45 and 3.15. Contact Sheena or Caroline for details of weekly venues.
Socials
Social events are planned from time to time throughout the year.
Baptisms
Baptisms can take place at any of the Anglican churches, including St.
Peter's, during the morning service, or at St. Nicholas' on Sunday
afternoons.

St. Peter's Boyatt Wood
We have an established link with St. Peter's Church, Boyatt Wood,
in Hampshire. They began as a church plant over 25 years ago, and built
their own church building a few years later. The link represents part
of a wider link between the dioceses of Newcastle and Winchester.
