Church of England in Cramlington

St. Andrew's Church was "planted" in 1993. It meets every Sunday in the Beaconhill Community Centre on Langdale Drive (the Community Centre is well signposted from the A 1172, just after Beaconhill First School).

We welcome everyone to our Sunday morning service which starts at 10.30am. The worship is very informal with an evangelical/charismatic emphasis. Holy Communion takes place on the first Sunday in every month.

A teaching programme for the children runs every week during the Sunday morning service time - the children leave for their classes mid-way through the service.

The church operates on the scriptural basis of "all member ministry" and all committed members are encourage to explore and use the gifts that God the Holy Spirit has and is giving to His body in this local community of Beaconhill and Beacon Lane.

A small group lead a short service once a month in a local Residential Care Home and a brief outreach service takes place once a week in the Beaconhill Lea Community House.

We are currently re-visiting the vision and mission statement of the church during a time of change over the next few months. Our current mission statement reads:

ST. ANDREW'S BEACONHILL
Exists to
  • Worship and obey God
  • Encourage one another to grow into our full potential which the Holy Spirit gives us
  • Reach out boldly with the love of Jesus to all the people of Beaconhill

We run various house groups and introductory courses to the Christian faith. More information is available on the Courses page.

Please do pay us a visit, you can be assured of a very warm welcome.
