Some groups and activities are parish-wide whilst others are more focussed on one of the churches. But that doesn't mean you can only go to groups in your area or run by your church.
If you are interested in any of these groups, contact the person involved, or one of the clergy if no contact details are given.

Children
Young children are catered for in almost all the services offered by the different churches. Please see the individual church pages for the arrangements for children of various ages.

Pre-school children, including babies and parents are welcome to attend Little Fishes on a Monday morning during term-time. Click HERE for more details.

Young People
For young people aged 11 to 18 and over there is a variety of events. Click here to go to the Refresh Youth Ministry website

Or telephone Darren on 07738169524 for more details.

Pilgrims' Housegroup
'Pilgrims' is a group which began, like the Bowler's house group, at the end of a Lent Group, when some of us decided we would like to continue our journey as Christians together. We meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Monday to do some Bible study, to have some prayer, and to share. Some of the original members are no longer with us, but others have joined us. We have used a variety of materials on which to base our study and discussion. We have recently been using 'Looking and Longing' by David Adam.
We begin and end with prayer. The evening includes refreshments (coffee & tea etc and biscuits). Sometimes we have a purely social evening.
We would warmly welcome anyone who would like to join us at 21 Glencoe Avenue.

St. Nicholas' Craft Group

St. Nicholas Craft Group consists of a small number of ladies who share a love of creating craft items, and who meet up on the first Wednesday of each month, in the home of one of its members.  Since the Group was formed, we have undertaken the refurbishment and creation of many items in Church, including altar frontals and covers, piano backs, banners, and kneelers.  We have worked on items to assist fund raising have raffled proggy mats, wool rugs, patchwork duvet cover and quilts, and had a great deal of fun recycling church candle stubs.  Craft materials are often donated and so we search out ideas for making the best use of these.  We are keen to learn about new crafts and would welcome new members to share their skills.  If you would like to know more about our group please contact Mary Murray.

The Sanctuary Guild
The Sanctuary Guild is a large group of friendly and dedicated flower arrangers, comprising church members and arrangers from Cramlington Floral Art Club. We are divided into five teams and decorate the church for weekly services and for weddings. Members enjoy creating floral displays to enhance the beauty of the church building especially for Easter, Harvest and Christmas when the whole group work together as one team.
We organise a biannual Flower Festival which is aimed at attracting visitors into St Nicholas church to share the richness of our faith. The Sanctuary Guild tries to care for and support group members in many ways, which go beyond the practicalities of arranging flowers. For us, flower arranging is a form of worship; a gift we gladly use in the service of Christ.

Friday Fellowship
The Friday Fellowship meets once a month on the first Friday of each month at 2.00pm at the Parish Centre. We commence with a short service, either Communion (once every three months) or Evening Prayer with Bible readings, lasting approximately 30 minutes. After the service we all enjoy a fellowship faith supper where we can discuss anything and everything. A welcome is extended to new members and transport is available if required, a list of venues is published in the Parish newsletter.
